Brooke Watts
Co-Founder, The UpGen ProjectBrooke Watts is an emerging leader and innovator in Australia’s agricultural sector. Raised on her family’s farm in Molong, she developed a deep-rooted passion for agriculture from an early age. Her rural upbringing inspired her commitment to bridging traditional farming values with forward-thinking strategies that drive the industry into the future.
Brooke specialises in driving ag-tech adoption, modern marketing approaches for farming businesses, and creating opportunities for young people in agriculture. She co-founded The UpGen Project, helping students explore career pathways in the agricultural industry and build confidence in their future.
Her contributions to regional communities have been widely recognized. Brooke was named a finalist for the 2024 Western NSW Outstanding Young Business Leader of the Year and the 2023 Charles Sturt University Young Alumni of the Year. In 2025, she was also selected as a finalist in the prestigious NSW RAS Rural Achiever program.
Brooke is the host of the podcast “Business with Brooke,” which launched in 2025 and focuses on conversations around agriculture, leadership, and innovation. As an event MC, panel speaker, and keynote presenter, Brooke regularly shares insights on rural leadership, the future of agribusiness, ag tech and women's health advocacy.
